OK everyone, this picture here has alot of "First Times" to it.
This was the First Batmobile I had ever seen. It was also the first time I ever met the #5 car as well as the First time I ever met Bob.

Plus, this was the first picture I ever took of a Batmobile (and as you can guess, it was also my First thrill seeing one in person).

Finally, this was the First day in what would turn out to be a long career with Bob Butts & the Batmobiles.

The next 5 photos show how the car looked on that First day I walked into Bobs museum. It wasn't even finished being restored yet. As you can see the canopys are missing and the grill work was not installed around the
headlights.
